These are just some of the questions that have gripped viewers of T, the famous and ultra-award-winning cult series by HBO, conceived by Nic Pizzolatto, starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, which aired in 2014. Even today, the questions surrounding the dense and dark symbology present in the series have not been completely resolved.
Thursday 13 May at 21 pm we return with our live coverage on cinema and TV series by the film-maker and critic Claudio Gargano, this time from the page of Historical Alchemical Itineraries Naples, to speak with an exceptional guest, Marco Maculotti, author of the beautiful Carcosa unveiled, a volume that explores the first season of the Pizzolatto series in a fascinating and exhaustive way.
Maculotti's essay manages to frame T in its most congenial dimension, that is the esoteric one, creating a network of suggestions and references that make up a hypnotic and disturbing tapestry, where it is tasty, but also dizzying, to get lost and at the same time find the compass.
The meeting will be moderated by the historian of esotericism and writer Laura Miriello.
