At the end of our fifth year of activity, some news for the present and the future on our network and on our next editorial publications.
As you may have noticed, after a long time we have changed the layout of the site, trying to make the articles more pleasant to read, using among other things colored fonts for the quotes to personalize each single article. We have also completely redone all the pages of the sections of the site, which can be consulted via the drop-down menu located on the left at the top of the site, keeping the old ones as archives.
Secondly, after having already opened the page Instagram e Soundcloud (to publish our audio conferences, which can also be consulted now on the site), we decided to open the Youtube channel. For the moment we have uploaded the full video of the conference Elevation and depth: harmonies and contrasts in the Apollonian, held in Milan a year ago together with friends of Imaginalis, setting the premiere for December 21 at 21pm. We were supposed to repeat this conference in Venice in mid-November, but the event was temporarily postponed due to the measures taken by the government. We will soon publish other audio-visual material on the channel that we are already working on.
Meanwhile, the friends of the Sulfur Society inform us that it is available for preorder on dvd of the conference The Dawn of the West III in which we participated in October with a speech on HP Lovecraft, Blavatsky, Jรผnger: from the death of God to the return of the Great Ancients.
Speaking of conferences, unfortunately this year, due to the health situation, we were able to do very few in the presence and, among other things, we were unable to present the anthology as we would have liked. Beyond the real, released by GOG editions in February, to which we contributed with an essay on Arthur Machen. We remind our readers that, having decided from the beginning to publish all our contents absolutely free of charge, face-to-face conferences are practically the only opportunity we have to make a minimum of our work in economic terms.
AXIS world is a completely non-profit project that has been carried out for years now for free, allowing free access and without any annoying advertising to all its contents. The research behind it and making it possible, however, comes at a cost, as does the maintenance of the site itself. A brief note also regarding ours Facebook page .. As often happens every few months, even recently the algorithms for the pages have been changed, with the result of strongly decreasing the audience that can be reached on all the pages that do not pay money to Facebook for advertising. A few words also about the upcoming editorial releases that will see us as protagonists. The publication of our monographic essay Carcosa unveiled! Notes for an esoteric reading of "True Detective" is in the pipeline, and will appear in the Mimesis catalog in 2021. In addition, for the next few months, the release of four highly recommended magazines in which we have collaborated is expected ATRIUM (on which we have already appeared in n.1 / 2020), in which you will find our full-bodied study on the Andean tradition, ARTHOS, to which we contributed with an equally substantial essay on tradition fairy in the British Isles from a traditional perspective, LOVECRAPHTIAN STUDIES, where you can read our opinion on the age-old issue of racism in the world view and in the work of HP Lovecraft, a "hot" topic following the absurd controversies raised at the latest edition of Hugo Awards, and COSMIC DIMENSION, with our article on the unexpected point of contact between Arthur Machen, Mircea Eliade andโฆ Moana Pozzi.
Finally, a few numbers. This year we have exceeded 300 articles on the site, 35 thousand followers on Facebook and we have registered 300 thousand visits to the site since January. We can therefore only thank you very much for the attention and passion with which you have been following us for years!
